ICCS Opens its Let’s Talk Supervision: Community of Practice to All Coaching Supervisors Worldwide

The International Centre for Coaching Supervision (ICCS) are opening its 2-hour collaborative, virtual sessions to all coaching supervisors around the world. The first virtual gathering will go live on the 15th of July, at 3 PM UK time.

Let’s Talk Supervision is ICCS’ newly relaunched Community of Practice where supervisors worldwide can virtually meet with each other and discuss all things supervision.

Nick Bolton, founder and CEO of ICCS, envisions these interactive sessions to be a constructive space for supervisors to look at their practice, address questions, and get to know other supervisors.

“This is not supervision of supervision though, but rather peer-learning and sharing,” Bolton shared.

Originally intended to be a private meetup within the students and alumni of ICCS, Nick Bolton decided it would be a great initiative to invite other coaching supervisors — regardless of where they have trained.

“The key to opening up is that we’ll get different perspectives and it’s a service we’re providing for the whole of the supervision world,” Nick added.

Through a virtual roundtable discussion via AirMeet, coaching supervisors will be able to have enriching discussions surrounding different themes and issues in coaching supervision.

Each session will comprise two parts. The first hour will be dedicated to addressing a supervisor’s personal inquiry, while the second half of the session will encourage the participants to explore any challenge or issue they wish to in the supervision sphere.

Nick will be running the sessions personally, and he intends to schedule the virtual meetups every 2 months.
