The Business of Supervision: an ICCS Community of Practice Lifts Off!

Always looking to add value to its alumni and students, the International Centre for Coaching Supervision launches a unique and free community of practice on July 8th 2021.

The Community of Practice is called The Business of Supervision and will run every two months for three hours, enabling supervisors from the student body to discuss, share and learn how to develop the commercial aspect of their supervision.

The sessions will be run personally by ICCS founder, Nick Bolton, who says:

“People often assume that if you’re training to become a supervisor, you’ll automatically know how to grow a supervision practice. The assumption is that if you’ve grown a coaching practice, you can grow a supervision practice.  But whilst that experience will certainly help, you’re entering a new market place with different clients, different needs and a different service.”

As an entrepreneur over over 20 years experience and having mentored well over 100 coaches to create their coaching business, Nick knows what it takes to be successful in business.

“Whether it’s finding what makes you unique as a supervisor, figuring out how you reach your market, managing your business, or building your personal brand, there is always best practice to learn from.  I believe that learning together in a group whilst being mentored by someone who’s been there and done it is truly the best of both worlds.”

Nick is passionate about helping the coaching supervisors who train through ICCS to succeed and this is the first in a number of initiatives that he will be launching to help them find lasting success in their new careers.
