ICCS Plans to Influence the Future of Supervision through Media

The International Centre for Coaching Supervision (ICCS) announced on May 03, 2021 through an internal Facebook post that they are aiming to promote coaching supervision through meaningful influence, reporting and culture-building.

The supervision school recently hired a content manager to research, interview, create articles and manage content.

ICCS Founder Nick Bolton said in the Facebook post,

“Having a full-time writer and reporter will bring a journalistic approach to ICCS that will enable us to chart and document the impact of students and alumni, respond to world events through the prism of our values and philosophy, surface and comment on developments in the supervision field, communicate our unique perspectives, share analyses of relevant books in our space, research and report on the state of our profession and so much more.”

Bolton aims to create impactful publications for the coaching and supervision industry. He emphasised the importance of responding to related issues, journals, academia, events and concerns. He says that this approach will “democratise and spread supervision”.

The internal Facebook group responded with the same enthusiasm, expressing that it is exciting times for ICCS and the industry as a whole and they were looking forward to contributing new ideas and professional experiences.

The following day Bolton announced that they will be creating a discussion for a book review with the coaching and supervision community. This is also part of his vision to respond to current affairs.
